Quick fixes

My plants are suspiciously quiet.

In Plant Attitude’s Settings, check that Reminders are on and tap Send test notification. The test arrives after 10 seconds. If it stays quiet, open Notification settings and allow notifications. Also check your iPhone’s Focus settings. Regular nudges wait until your quiet hours end.

Does a reminder mean I should water?

It means it’s time to check the soil. Follow the plant’s check-in, then record what you found. Timing adjusts to the plant’s care needs and your observations. Damp soil can wait; a calendar can’t feel your pot.

How do photo checks work?

Open a plant to identify it or check a problem. Problem checks use its saved type and recent care history for context. On supported devices, available Apple Intelligence can analyze on the iPhone. Online analysis uses OpenAI and asks your permission first. AI can make mistakes, so treat its answer as a starting point.

A photo check won’t finish.

For online checks, confirm you have an internet connection and that Online photo analysis is enabled in Settings. Try a clear, well-lit photo of the affected area. If you see a service or usage-limit message, follow it before trying again. If the problem continues, email us the error message.

The plant identification looks wrong.

You can correct its type from the plant’s menu and try another clear photo. Your plant’s nickname stays yours. For a problem check, describe what changed and how the soil feels.

Can I save a copy of my library?

Open Settings → Export library to save your plants, photos and care history. Keep that file somewhere you trust: it includes the information you entered. Your library lives on your device, so export it before removing the app.
